Fishing
Fishing on the stream located on the Resort does not require a fishing license. Manitou Lake is within 10 minutes of the resort and is a great place to drop a line. Fishing licenses can be obtain at many convenience stores located in Woodland Park. The DOW can be contacted online at wildlife.state.co.us for, licenses, hunting and fishing information. Fly fishing is also available in the area.

Looking for an exciting day adventure on the Arkansas River? Approximate drive time from the Resort would be 2 hours. Off-Highway Vehicle
There are many exciting and beautiful areas in Colorado that can be explored by off-highway vehicles. There are motorcycles, ATV and four wheel drive trails and roads in the adjacent Pike National Forest. Colorado law requires the registration of all terrain vehicles (ATVs), unlicensed motorcycles (dirt bikes), unlicensed four-wheel drives and dune buggies operated on public lands. Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center
An exceptional 20,000 square foot facility located in downtown Woodland Park “At the Palms” at 201 S. Fairview. Throughout the Dinosaur Resource Center there are life restorations, interactive displays and dinosaur displays that are both educational and entertaining.
The museum offers great group tour rates. A group of 10 or more can receive a guided tour at discounted rate.
